New to Hot Yoga? Start Here
Trying something new can feel intimidating – especially hot yoga.
The good news? You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or “fit enough” to get started. You just need to show up.
What to expect
Our classes are practised in a heated room, designed to help you move more freely, build strength, and improve flexibility.
Your first class might feel challenging. That’s completely normal.
You’ll sweat, you’ll be pushed (at your own pace), and you’ll feel a real sense of accomplishment afterwards.
Most importantly, you’re always in control. You can take breaks whenever you need to.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely.
Many of our students started as complete beginners.
- No experience needed
- No pressure to keep up
- Options and guidance throughout the class
You’ll be supported from the moment you walk in.
Which class should I start with?
We recommend starting with:
Original 26 & 2 Hot Yoga
A structured, beginner friendly class that:
- follows the same sequence each time
- helps you build confidence quickly
- allows you to track your progress
What should I bring?
- Water (you’ll need it)
- A yoga mat
- A towel large enough to cover your yoga mat
- Bring a shower towel if you plan to shower after class
- Comfortable workout clothes
Mats and towels are available to rent at the studio if needed.
What happens when I arrive?
- Arrive 15 minutes before your first class
- Check in at reception
- Our team will help you get set up
- Let the teacher know it’s your first class
From there, just follow along and go at your own pace.
What if I’m late to class?
Please arrive at least 10 – 15 minutes before your class starts.
For the comfort and safety of all students, late entry is not permitted once the class has begun. This helps maintain a focused, uninterrupted environment.
A few simple tips for your first class
- Drink plenty of water beforehand
- Don’t worry about getting every posture “right”
- Take breaks when you need them
- Focus on how you feel, not how you look
How will I feel afterwards?
Everyone is different, but most people leave feeling:
- Energised & refreshed
- Clear headed
- Proud you showed up
And usually… ready to come back!
You’re more ready than you think
Starting is always the hardest part.
Once you’re in the room, everything becomes much simpler.
